Ten Men Initiative - Crisis Aid to Ukraine
Hello. My name is Seth Richardson. Thank you for considering supporting the relief efforts in Ukraine. I am taking part in the Ten Men Initiative (https://ukraineinitiative.com/ ) and I will be leaving for Ukraine around August 2nd to take part in delivering much needed humanitarian assistance to needy areas in Ukraine.
This undertaking is organized by the Armada Network (https://www.armadanetwork.org/ ), an affiliate of the American Pastors’ Network ( https://americanpastorsnetwork.net/ ).
A network of American pastors and churches are sending teams of ten men for ten days to Ukraine every month. Each member of the team raises roughly $10,000 in order to buy humanitarian aid. Members of the team pay for their own flight so that the $10,000 raised can go towards buying humanitarian aid and supporting local efforts to distribute aid to needy areas.
Generally speaking, the teams land in Bucharest, Romania, connect with Romanian pastors and buy humanitarian aid. The team then loads the trucks and deliver the aid to needy areas in Ukraine using a network of Ukrainian pastors who know where the needs are greatest.
Currently the Armada Network is renting a warehouse in Odesa which is used as a launch pad to distribute aid to the surrounding towns and villages. Many areas are without electricity or running water. This is not a political mission. It is churches in America stepping in to help Romanian and Ukrainian churches that have been delivering humanitarian aid for weeks on end and need some relief, some fresh helping hands and fresh supplies.
